A client-dedicated, fully remote role for a Junior Programmer to assist in the development and validation of statistical programs that support clinical trial analysis and reporting. The position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data analysis in clinical research projects, contributing to the success of healthcare intelligence and clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, validation, and maintenance of statistical programs (SAS, R, or similar) for clinical trial data
• Collaborate with senior programmers and biostatisticians to understand project requirements and contribute to statistical analysis plans (SAPs)
• Perform data cleaning and preparation to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Participate in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and clinical study reports
• Learn and apply industry standards (ICH/GCP guidelines) to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar position
• Technical Skills:
• Previous work experience with the R programming language is required
• Experience with SAS or similar statistical programming languages is implied
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively
• Advantageous: Familiarity with clinical trials, data management processes, and ICH/GCP guidelines
